Data Protection & Your Rights
phream Privacy Policy
At phream, protecting the personal information of every Filipino player is a responsibility we take seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we may share it with, and what rights you have as amember of our platform.
Effective Date: January 1, 2025 | Last Updated: January 1, 2025
Section 1
Information We Collect
When you register for a phream account or interact with our platform, we collect several categories of personal information necessary to operate the service safely and in compliance with applicable Philippine regulations. The types of data we gather fall into the following groups: account information, device and browser data, payment details, cookies and usage analytics, and communication records when you contact our support team.
Account Information: This includes your full legal name, date of birth, email address, mobile number, and the username and password you create during registration. If identity verification is required — for example, when processing a withdrawal — we may also collect a copy of a government-issued ID such as a Philippine national ID, passport, or driver's licence. All identity documents are handled with strict confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of verifying your identity as required by anti-money-laundering regulations applicable in the Philippines.
Device & Browser Data: When you access phream through a web browser or mobile device, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, device type, operating system version, browser type and version, screen resolution, and the pages you visit within the platform. This data helps us optimise the phream experience across the wide variety of devices used by Filipino players and allows us to detect and investigate any unusual access patterns that may indicate unauthorised use of an account.
Payment Information: All financial transactions on phream are denominated in Philippine Peso (PHP). When you make a deposit or request a withdrawal, we collect transaction records including the payment method used, transaction amount, date and time, and reference identifiers. We do not store full payment card numbers or full e-wallet credentials on our servers; sensitive payment data is processed through our integrated payment providers under their own security protocols. We retain transaction records as required by applicable financial regulations in the Philippines.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the platform, including which games you play, session duration, betting history, bonus claims, and support interactions. This usage data is used to personalise your experience, improve our games and features, and fulfil our responsible gaming obligations. We may also collect data about promotional campaigns you engaged with to evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing efforts for the Philippine market.
Section 2
How We Use Your Data
phream uses the personal information we collect for the following core purposes: to create and manage your account, to process deposits and withdrawals in Philippine Peso, to deliver the games and platform features you access, to verify your identity and age as required by applicable law, to communicate with you about your account or platform updates, and to fulfil our legal obligations under Philippine gaming and financial regulations.
We use your usage data and game history to support responsible gaming monitoring. Our platform is designed to detect patterns that may indicate problem gambling behaviour, and the data we collect allows us to implement player protection measures such as deposit limits, session alerts, and self-exclusion options. Protecting the wellbeing of our members is a core part of how phream operates, and data processing in this context is done in members' best interests. Further details on these tools are available on the Responsible Gaming page.
We may use your email address and mobile number to send you account-related communications, including transaction confirmations, security alerts, and platform notifications. We will only send you promotional communications — such as information about new games, special offers, or bonus promotions — if you have opted in to receive them. You can update your communication preferences at any time through your account settings. phream does not sell your personal data to third-party marketers or data brokers under any circumstances.
Where required by Philippine law or the regulations of relevant licensing and oversight bodies, we may process your data to meet compliance, reporting, and audit obligations. This includes anti-money-laundering checks, fraud screening, and regulatory reporting. Any such processing is conducted strictly within the scope required by the applicable legal obligation and does not extend to any commercial use of your data beyond the purposes described in this policy.
Section 3
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
phream uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the platform. Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website; they allow the site to remember certain information about your visit, such as your login session and language preferences. Without session cookies, it would not be possible to maintain a logged-in state as you navigate through the different sections of the phream platform.
We use the following categories of cookies on the phream website. Essential cookies are required for the platform to function at all — they manage your login session, protect against cross-site request forgery, and ensure secure navigation between pages. These cookies cannot be disabled without breaking core platform functionality. Functional cookies remember your preferences, such as your preferred game category or display settings, so that your experience is consistent across sessions. Analytics cookies collect aggregated, anonymised data about how users interact with the platform, which we use to identify areas for improvement and measure the performance of new features.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels from external advertising networks. The analytics tools we use are configured to anonymise IP addresses and to respect the privacy preferences of our members. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; however, disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to your phream account and using the platform. Most modern browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through the browser's privacy or settings menu.
Section 4
Data Storage & Security
Your personal data is stored on secure servers protected by industry-standard technical and organisational security measures. phream employs encryption for data in transit (using TLS/SSL protocols) and for sensitive data at rest, including identity documents and financial records. Access to personal data within the organisation is restricted to authorised personnel who require it to perform their job functions, and all staff with access to member data are subject to confidentiality obligations.
We retain your personal data for as long as your phream account is active and for the period required by applicable Philippine law after account closure. Financial and transaction records are typically retained for a minimum of five years in line with anti-money-laundering obligations. Identity verification documents are retained for as long as required by applicable regulations. Once the applicable retention period has expired, data is securely deleted or anonymised in accordance with our data retention schedule.
While we implement robust security measures, no system connected to the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure against all threats. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, phream will notify affected members and relevant regulatory authorities as required by applicable Philippine law. We take all reasonable steps to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents promptly. If you suspect that your account has been accessed without your authorisation, please contact the phream support team immediately through your account's support channels.
Section 5
Sharing Data with Third Parties
phream does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for commercial or marketing purposes. We only share your data with third parties in the limited circumstances described in this section, and only to the extent necessary to fulfil the purpose for which the sharing occurs. All third-party service providers with whom we share data are contractually required to handle your information securely and only for the purposes we specify.
Payment Processors: To facilitate deposits and withdrawals in Philippine Peso, we share the minimum necessary transaction details with our integrated payment service providers. These providers operate under their own privacy policies and security standards, which we review as part of our due diligence process. We only work with payment partners who demonstrate compliance with applicable financial data protection standards applicable to the Philippines market.
Identity Verification Services: Where we are required to verify your identity or age — such as when you request a withdrawal above a certain threshold — we may share relevant identity information with authorised identity verification service providers. These checks are conducted in compliance with applicable Philippine regulations and the information shared is limited strictly to what is required for the verification purpose. Verification providers are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose.
Regulatory & Legal Disclosure: We may be required by applicable Philippine law, court order, or the instructions of a competent regulatory authority to disclose your personal information. In such cases, phream will comply with the legal obligation while taking reasonable steps to limit the scope of disclosure to what is strictly required. Where permitted by law, we will notify you of any such disclosure. We do not proactively share your data with government bodies beyond what is required by our legal and regulatory obligations.
Section 6
Your Rights as a User
As a member of phream, you have the following rights in relation to the personal data we hold about you. These rights are provided in line with applicable Philippine data protection law, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules and regulations. phream is committed to honouring these rights and to responding to any requests you make in a timely and transparent manner.
Right of Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data phream holds about you, including information about how it is being used and who it has been shared with. You can initiate an access request by contacting the phream support team through your account's support channels. We will respond to access requests within the timeframe required by applicable law, typically within thirty (30) calendar days.
Right to Correction: If any of the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, you have the right to request that we correct it. You can update certain account details — such as your contact information — directly through your phream account settings. For corrections to identity information such as your name or date of birth, please contact the support team and provide supporting documentation if required.
Right to Deletion: You may request the deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and there is no legal obligation requiring us to retain it. Please note that some data — particularly financial transaction records — must be retained for a minimum period under applicable Philippine law, and deletion requests for such data may be declined during the applicable retention period. Where deletion is not immediately possible, we will explain the reason and advise you of the earliest date at which deletion can be completed.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact the phream support team through the in-account contact options available after logging in. We may need to verify your identity before processing a rights request to protect your data against unauthorised access. phream will not charge a fee for standard data rights requests, and we are committed to resolving all requests fairly and in accordance with our obligations under Philippine data protection law.
Section 7
Protection of Minors
phream does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. The platform is strictly intended for adult use, and the minimum age requirement for registration is 18 years old. During the registration process, you are required to confirm your date of birth, and phream reserves the right to request age verification documentation at any point. If we discover that personal data has been collected from a person under the age of 18, we will immediately delete that data and close the associated account.
We encourage parents and guardians to be aware of their children's online activities and to use available parental control tools to prevent minors from accessing online gaming platforms. If you believe that a minor has registered on phream or that personal data belonging to a minor has been submitted to our platform, please contact our support team immediately. We will investigate the matter promptly and take appropriate action, including account closure and data deletion, in accordance with our minor protection obligations.
The age verification measures phream employs are designed to make the platform inaccessible to anyone under the legal gaming age in the Philippines. We continually review our age verification procedures and update them where necessary to maintain their effectiveness. Our commitment to minor protection is an integral part of our broader responsible gaming framework, and it reflects the seriousness with which phream approaches its obligations to operate a safe and legally compliant platform for Filipino players.
Section 8
Updates to This Policy
phream may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices, applicable Philippine law, regulatory requirements, or the features and services we offer. When material changes are made, we will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. For significant changes that affect how we handle your personal data, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered members through in-platform notifications or other available communication channels prior to the changes taking effect.
It is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and to stay informed of any changes. Continued use of the phream platform after an updated policy has been posted constitutes your acknowledgement of the changes. If you do not agree with any update to this policy, your options are to contact us to discuss your concerns or to close your account by reaching out to the support team. We will not apply changes in a way that retroactively reduces the protections afforded to data collected under a prior version of this policy.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, about how phream handles your personal data, or if you wish to exercise any of your data rights, please reach out to our support team through the contact options available within your phream account after logging in. You can also visit the FAQ page for answers to common questions about data, account management, and platform policies.
